Grocery stores want us to come back often. Expiration dates often do the trick. Do you know that your eggs are often times good in the refrigerator for 2 months regardless of what the expiration date tells you?

Linda Before throwing out your eggs, do the float test:

1. Fill a bowl with water.

2. Gently place an egg in the bowl.

a. If it floats, throw it out.

b. If it sinks to the bottom, the egg is very fresh.

c. If it sinks, but stands up, you should eat within a few days.
